I should note that this blog isn’t all rainbows and sunshine. But its honest, raw, and truthful. It’s about every day life. The things everyone wants to hide on social media. Most post filtered pictures or all the happy, when it really isn’t.
Remeber not to compare yourself. Everyone has something going on that don’t want people to know or they don’t want to share and that is fine. But you see, I want to be honest. I want other people to relate and know they are not alone.
We are all battling and struggling with something. We all have storms to weather and different seasons of life. You may see someone that is thriving right now. Positive attitude and always seems to have everything together. But what had they faced previously to get to this point?
We’ve had good seasons, bad seasons, difficult seasons. Life keeps going and we keep moving.
But what if we pause and reflective on what we’ve been through and what we are going through right now? Because your past struggles are your testimony. What you are going through now, will be a testimony. What is God trying to say to you or teach you in this moment or season?
First, we are not being punished. Read that again, we are NOT being punished. We all have made decision based on free will to be at this moment and time in life. So, what can you learn from your struggles or battles right now?
I’m asking myself that exact question. It’s not going well at the moment because I don’t know yet. I feel like my body has betrayed me. Finances are tight. Stress and anxiety are extremely high right now. My heart had been having palpatations this evening. I’m ok. They’ve stopped. But it is wearing on me. And I still don’t have an answer on what I can learn right now.
But just because I don’t have an answer right now does not mean I am just going to give up. My day has been meh. Just that. Not good and not bad. Just meh. It was a rough start this morning getting myself in gear. But I got up. God woke me up for another day. I wasn’t in the best frame of mind. My eyes hurt and they were swollen this morning. But I faced the day. I tackled a couple of things in the house.
And tomorrow, I will get up again and face the day. I will have my quiet time in the morning. Then I will tackle my daughter’s bedroom some more. Her and I are cleaning out her room. We took down her old bed and put up her new bed. I might have “blessed” her old bed…
I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow and I am ready. I’m also ready for suggestions and help from my doctor. I am ready to feel better. I took my vitamins tonight. I have been forgetting. But I took them tonight!
One thing at a time. Remember that. Sometimes it is one minute, one hour, one day, one week, one month, one year. Seasons will come and go. It won’t always be like this. Love you, friends. Take care of yourselves.
If you need prayer, please leave a comment so I can pray for you.
Father, we come to you tonight and ask for rest. Rest physically, but also your supernatural rest in our spirit, body, minds, and hearts, Lord. Quiet the voices Lord so we can only hear you. We pray for motivation and peace upon our hearts and minds. Let us rest in you tonight, Jesus. Amen.
